PREPARE – 2.7.16
The stage is now set for the beginning of Jesus formal ministry. Jesus hinged his entire ministry on 2 primary mediums. First, he had a clear MESSAGE. This message was the Gospel by which he called people to repent and believe it. The second was the Jesus had a clear METHOD. Jesus’ entire focus was making disciples. This week as we gather, reflect on what we “expect” from church. Do we expect church to be more or something other than the MESSAGE and METHOD of Jesus. If so, may we humbly reconsider God’s plan for us as God’s people.
